Shipyard Painter – 1-3 years experience. Thorough knowledge of epoxy ship paint. Must be able to prepare metal surfaces for painting, which includes but is not limited to smoothing surfaces using sandpaper, scrapers, and sanding machines. Operates spray painting equipment. Must be able to mix solvents according to formula, matches colors of paint. To maintain safe and healthy working environment in workplace and to ensure correct safety practices are practiced. Must be able to pass drug/alcohol and background checks, and have valid driver’s license. Good working atmosphere and benefits: Health, Dental, Vision & 401(k) offered.
